The Office of Children’s Mental Health (OCMH) supports Wisconsin’s children in achieving their optimal mental health and well-being.

The Center: 7 Rivers LGBTQ Connection works on behalf of the LGBTQ community to develop and expand understanding of human sexuality, gender identity and the need for equal treatment.

The La Crosse Area Suicide Prevention Initiative is committed to promoting awareness that suicide is a public health problem that is preventable. They organize an annual Suicide Prevention Summit and various awareness events. They have also increased suicide prevention signage and resources available to people in crisis.

The Child Mind Institute is a nonprofit organization that focuses on providing assistance to children and families dealing with mental health and learning disorders.

Coulee Recovery Center provides confidential help to individuals and families impacted by addiction and leads the community in prevention, education and awareness.

NAMI West Central La Crosse serves residents across La Crosse, Trempealeau, and Vernon Counties with free mental health support, online groups, resources, and education.


Great Rivers 2-1-1 provides crisis help and connects those who need help with resources in their community. Services are available 24/7, dial 2-1-1.

Seize the Awkward helps provide young people with the inspiration and resources they need to help them reach out to their friends and start conversations about mental health.
